Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s meetings in Beijing with Chinese military leaders was immortalized with a commemorative plate. That’s Chinese Defense Minister Gen. Liang Guanglie presenting it to Secretary Panetta. The meetings included an invitation for China to participate in the massive RIMPAC maritime exercise held each summer in the Pacific Ocean.
